Vessel OverviewThe MY Basilisk is a 26.8-metre former Canadian fishing trawler transformed into a private expedition yacht, blending rugged North Atlantic strength with modern comfort. Originally built to Lloyd’s commercial standards, her robust steel hull and upgraded systems make her perfectly suited for long-distance, ocean-crossing adventures.
Refitted as a unique expedition vessel, Basilisk now offers contemporary accommodation, extended deck space, and upgraded navigation and research capabilities. She has travelled from Canada to the Caribbean, Europe, the Red Sea and finally Seychelles—making her a true ocean explorer, purpose-built for remote cruising and one-of-a-kind voyages |
