Diving in the Outer Islands
Seychelles Outer Islands offer some of the best diving in the Indian Ocean, with reefs, caves and coral walls alive with marine life. Expect powerful tidal drift dives, crystal-clear visibility and encounters with sharks, turtles, rays and colourful schools of fish. Night dives reveal an entirely different world beneath the surface. With multiple dives each day, professional guides and full safety support on board, this is remote diving at its finest: untouched, exhilarating and unforgettable.

Itinerary Overview (14-night expedition)

Day 1 – Mahé
Embark MY Basilisk at 10:00. Welcome briefing and departure toward the Amirantes. Days 2–4 – Desroches and the Alphonse Group Cave diving, reef explorations, and strong pelagic activity. Abandoned plantation islands surrounded by turquoise water. |

Day 5 – At Sea
South-west crossing toward the Aldabra Group. Possible whale and dolphin sightings. Evening lecture and relaxed cruising. Days 6–7 – Cosmoledo Atoll Remote and uninhabited. Wall dives, turtle nurseries, clear lagoons and an abandoned settlement frozen in time. |

Days 8–10 – Aldabra Atoll
A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tidal drift dives, reef passes, mangrove channels and world-famous biomass. Visit to the research station and historic ruins. Day 11 – Assumption A wide arc of white coral sand and offshore reefs with excellent visibility and colourful marine life. |

Day 12 – Astove
The legendary reef wall. Shipwreck anchors, turtle bones and abandoned buildings on shore. Powerful diving with large predators. Day 13 – Bijoutier Perfect reef conditions in shallow turquoise water, ideal for relaxed dives with incredible visibility. |

Day 14 – St Joseph Atoll and D’Arros
Protected waters managed by Save Our Seas Foundation. A nursery for sharks and rays and one of the region’s most important manta sites. Day 15 – Return to Mahé Expected arrival at Eden Marina around 15:00 for disembarkation. |
